Reflections from the Dallas Regional Workshop

The knowledge, experience, and energy that both Blair and Ginger bring each time is priceless! bruce quickelOctane 2-12-13Bruce Quickel, Octane Fitness:  Great experience regarding the content and delivery of the material from Blair, which created a good atmosphere for all to collaborate and work together.  The value is not something to explain unless you were present, however what we think is a good “Strategy” today is not necessarily correct, especially if you are uncertain where you first received your current Strategy.  Defining strategy is critical, yet misleading for many reasons, simply because it is constantly undefined.  I walked away thinking I can recreate the strategy I use in everyday life, but more so applied to my territory and accounts at Octane. 

Sal Pellegrino 2Star Trac NEW with tag 3-28-14Sal Pellegrino, Star Trac:  I just completed  my first GGFA Regional Workshop on  Strategy for Differentiation in Dallas TX.  I feel as though I received an MBA in Club Management . Blair McHaney walked the attendees down a path  for success  and shared a strategy on  how to win in the middle of the market. Every Gold’s Gym owner should take the initiative and  attend one of these workshops (bring along their key manager or change agent). Also, I finally know the difference between Strategic planning and operational planning.  My key take-away is that the Gold’s Gym owner or manager must focus on ways to developing a strategy to drive Habit Creation and the development of social spaces. Exercise must become a habit for your new members to achieve long term success they must feel a sense of belonging and stay longer

I highly recommend this program for all owners and senior managers. This program will  certainly help you and your organization survive and thrive in a competitive environment. I am excited for those clients with proximity to Seattle, New Jersey and Atlanta, I hope you can attend this amazing program.
